Arthritis Diagnosis -Laboratory tests help rule out alternative diseases.
Arthritis Diagnosis Initial joint pain and stiffness is usually your first indication of a potential problem. Should this continue there may be need to address the problem as more than just a ‘strain’, muscular ‘pull’ or ‘trapped nerve’.Diagnosis is usually through physical examination and a symptomatic description. Confirmation is usually via techniques such as x-rays or an MRI scan (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Further laboratory tests on blood, urine and synovial fluid can also help determine causes and rule out alternative diseases.
